Life Networks Day

Life Networks Day is a free one-day conference to help networks build a stronger presence and influence in the community.
Wesley LifeForce are launching the Life Network Connect project and equipping networks in how to communicate and utilise the web.
What will be covered
Members from Suicide Prevention Australia, Mindframe, Black Dog Institute and others are providing updates on their latest activities, including tailored workshops to develop participants’ practical skills.
Topics include:
- working with aboriginal communities
- effective web communication and marketing
- incorporation and insurances
- emergency services – mental health intervention
- developing initiatives for men
The conference also includes:
- workshops
- network introductions
- showcased projects
- networking with other networks
- question and answer

Wesley LifeForce
Wesley LifeForce is a suicide prevention program aiming to educate, empower and resource Australian communities to be aware of the issues of suicide.
Wesley LifeForce is working with communities to develop Suicide Prevention Networks, known as Life Networks. These networks are designed to provide a framework for the development of localised suicide prevention.

Suicide Prevention Australia (SPA)
SPA is a non-profit, community organisation working as a public health advocate in suicide and self-harm prevention. SPA supports individuals and organisations throughout Australia.

Black Dog Institute is a non-profit, educational, research, clinical and community-oriented facility offering specialist expertise in depression and bipolar disorder.
Mindframe
The Mindframe initiative is a comprehensive strategy, encouraging responsible, accurate and sensitive portrayal of mental illness and suicide.
