Wesley Rehabilitation Services

The face of an elderly homeless manWesley Rehabilitation Services (WRS) is a new and innovative program, with a difference, for homeless men and women who wish to recover from addictions. WRS’ vision is to assist homeless women at Grace Manor and homeless men at Turnaround into a change of lifestyle.

Many alcoholics and addicts have-spent time in gaols, psychiatric hospitals and institution-based programs. When leaving these facilities they are unable to survive, as they have not experienced living sober in the community.

Clients are involved in a structured program, which includes self-help groups, education, vocational training, 12 step meetings, and recreational, social and spiritual activities.

Aiming to reinvest dignity and hope in damaged lives, WRS includes three programs spread over three facilities.

Grace Manor

A 16-bed residential rehabilitation program for women. Grace Manor clients are homeless women severely dependent on alcohol and/or other substances which places them at risk of being harmed or hurting others as well as themselves.

Turnaround Recovery Program

This is a 26-bed residential rehabilitation program at two properties for men severely dependent on alcohol or addictive substances. Turnaround clients are homeless men whose use of alcohol and/or other substances places them at risk of damaging their own health or the wellbeing of their family or others.
