Doctors

Wandene Private Hospital in Kogarah has a suite of consulting rooms for psychiatrists at 20 English Street Kogarah. The rooms are located within close proximity of Carlton and Kogarah stations.

The Consulting Rooms have highly qualified Consultant psychiatrists with a range of specialties, who provide assessment and treatment for patients with a mental health disorder. The doctors have full access to Wandene Private Hospital, which provides specialised inpatient and day patient programs in a range of areas.

All patients require a written referral from a General Practitioner prior to making an appointment. Appointments can be made by contacting the English Street Consulting Rooms on Ph: (02) 9588 3200.

Staff

Wandene is staffed to provide a multi–disciplinary approach to care; i.e. registered nurses, clinical psychologists, alcohol and other drug counsellors, clinicians, and welfare officers.

Our excellence in patient care is achieved through our committed team of consultant doctors and experienced staff.

As part of Wesley Mission's holistic approach to your care, pastoral care services are provided to meet the needs of all denominations through individual and/or group support.

In order to plan your individual treatment, we will carefully assess your needs at the beginning of your stay. All aspects of your program will be discussed with you so that you are fully informed and are in agreement to every stage.

Fees

Wandene Private Hospital is registered with the NSW Department of Health as a private hospital. Health Insurance funds refund accommodation charges according to a patient's level of cover and the contract negotiated with the hospital. The referring doctor will charge a separate fee for his or her services.

Accommodation

Wandene Private offers comfortable, well appointed accommodation. Both offer a smoke–free environment. Outside areas are provided for persons who wish to smoke.

The accommodation is attractive and spacious, in single or two-bed rooms.
