Wesley Private Hospital in Ashfield has suites of consulting rooms for psychiatrists adjacent to the hospital on Milton Street Ashfield. The suites are convenient to public transport and parking is readily available.
The Consulting Rooms have highly qualified Consultant psychiatrists with a range of specialties, who provide assessment and treatment for patients with a mental health disorder. The doctors have full access to Wesley Private Hospital, which provides specialised inpatient programs and day patient programs in a range of areas.
All patients require a written referral from a General Practitioner prior to making an appointment. Appointments can be made by contacting the Consulting Rooms on (02) 8922 9020.
Staff
A multi–disciplinary approach to care is provided with registered nurses, psychologists, alcohol and other drug counselors, providing services to both inpatients and day patients.

As part of Wesley Mission’s holistic approach to your care, pastoral care services are provided to meet the needs of all denominations through individual and/or group support.
Admissions
Admissions can be arranged through your specialist or general practitioner. For a referral and appointments for assessment, contact the hospital on (02) 9716 1400. Admissions are only available to those with private health insurance.
In order to plan your individual treatment, we will carefully assess your needs at the beginning of your stay. All aspects of your program will be discussed with you so that you are fully informed and are in agreement to every stage.
Fees
Wesley Private Hospital is registered with the NSW Department of Health as a private hospital. Health Insurance funds refund accommodation charges according to a patient’s level of cover and the contract negotiated with the hospital. The referring doctor will charge a separate fee for his or her services. Please check with your insurer regarding your level of cover. For those without private health insurance please contact the hospital regarding costs.

A two-bed room at Wesley Private hospital
Wesley Private Hospital offers comfortable, well appointed accommodation. The accommodation is attractive and spacious, in single or two-bed rooms. Many patient rooms have garden views or direct outdoor access.
