Interpersonal effectiveness program
About the program
Some people have difficulty in maintaining constructive relationships, managing their behaviours, and/or regulating their emotions, and may resort to substance abuse, self harm or other disruptive behaviours. The Interpersonal Effectiveness Program is based on the Dialetical Behaviour Therapy approach, and research has validated this approach in the treatment of such behaviours.
This program will assist people who suffer from:
- Binge Eating
- Substance Abuse
- Self Harm
- Anger Management
- Poor Impulse Control
- Identify Issues
- Low Self Esteem
The Interpersonal Effectiveness Program aims to identify triggers, impart crisis management skills, improve emotional regulation and reduce impulsive and disruptive behaviours through increased self awareness.
