The heart of our teaching at Wesley is the Sunday night experience - Praise, Prayer and Preaching. Starting at 6pm in Wesley Theatre, 220 Pitt Street.
We extend to everyone a warm welcome - light refreshments are served after worship.

Preaching the Gospel of Mark
When you read Mark’s gospel, there is an urgency within and it is written with directness. From the outset, we are told, ‘The time has come, the kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!’ (Mark 1:15). As we explore this gospel in our day, we ask what this kingdom has to say to the world in which we live and how the gospel of Jesus Christ can enable us to drop our nets and follow him as it did for some of the first disciples.
Preaching the Gospel of John
John’s gospel shows the Christian way is bound up in the person of the Risen Christ, who is ‘the way, the truth and the life’ (John 14:6). John’s gospel is different from the first three and it is written from a pastor’s heart. Its whole purpose is summed up in the deep desire that John’s readers should find their way to Jesus Christ (John 20:31).
