LIFE groups

LIFE groups bring the community of Wesley International Congregation into your own neighbourhood. Building deeper friendships and learning more about God, this group meets in an informal setting at various times in homes across Sydney. LIFE groups include times of Bible study and prayer in English, Indonesian, Korean and Chinese speaking groups.

Playgroup

Playgroup meet every Wednesday of school term in the Underwood Room on Level 3, 220 Pitt Street from 10–11.30 am. Children aged
0 to 4 are invited to participate in activities at such as singing, craft activities, storytelling and more. Morning tea is provided and often families socialise together afterwards. Donation is $2 per family. Come and check it out.

Evergreen fellowship

If you are over 55 then this is the group for you. Evergreen fellowship organises events ranging from luncheons to dinners as well as outings. Evergreen fellowship meets every third Sunday of each month on Level 3 Wilson Room, 220 Pitt Street from 12–2 pm.

Rubies

Rubies is a group of young ladies between the ages of 18 to 35 who are desirous of seeing God working through their lives in blessing others. It seeks to empower ladies to find their calling within Wesley International Congregation and in God’s kingdom.

Kingdom kids

City
Kingdom kids program runs concurrently with the 9.30 am City Service. Children participate in a time of worship, followed by Bible teaching and fun activities.

0 to 2 years are in the babies’ room overlooking the Theatre
nursery, preschool and kindy children should be signed in and out at the Green Room.
year 1 to 6 kids should be signed in at the Smith Room.

The children will be in the following rooms for sign out:

years 3 to 4: Pendlebury room
years 5 to 6: Pollard room

Ryde
Kingdom kids have a program for children from Creche to Kindgergarten all the way to Year 6. Children join the congregation during worship and from morning tea onwards, parents can sign their kids in for a program of Bible teaching and fun activities.

DIGJC – High school ministry

DIGJC runs a service for high school students on Level 3 at 9.30 am (City) and from morning tea onwards (Ryde). DIGJC meet most Sundays and also have a Friday night youth gathering at Ryde every week at 7 pm. All high school students are invited to come and be part of the DIGJC family.

Blue sky – University fellowship

Blue sky is a uni-aged group that meets every Friday at 7 pm in the city location. Blue sky’s vision is to see people encountering God and the focus each night is to create an environment where university students can meet God. The program is flexible, and you can expect a time of worship, someone sharing a message, and some time for discussion and connecting with people.

Mothers’ group

Come join other mums with babies or young children for a time of sharing and prayer. Mothers’ group aims to encourage and support mothers on the wonderful yet daunting journey of parenthood, while empowering them in their God-given calling as mothers and wives.

Urban reach

Urban reach are a team of people who go in pairs at 10 am on the second Saturday of each month to conduct a simple survey of people in the local community. This survey often leads to opportunities to have meaningful spiritual conversations, share the gospel of Christ, and connect people to groups within the church to help them in their spiritual growth.

Pre-outreach training is provided and newcomers pair up with experienced outreachers.

Wesley International Congregation has a passion for God’s mission to the world. Our vision is to mobilise the congregation to reach people locally and overseas through prayer, giving, helping and going.
