Welcome to the Best of Series on Wesley Impact!.
As we wrapped up recording for 2012 we had many favourite shows that viewers wanted us to share again.
Today we revisit our interview with an Australian household name.
At just 20 years of age, he won Olympic Gold in the 200 metre freestyle at Seoul.
A quarter of a century on and he now shares more than his medals.
Amid the popular recognition, Duncan Armstrong shares how he found the one thing that has filled the ache and void in his life.
Duncan shares about the power and the ‘pull of the world’ and how he tried to be the best and be in ‘control.’ His impressions of faith and church was nothing that he expected. “I had a sensational life before I met Jesus but now I’ve got a great life because of Jesus. It’s more colourful, deep and exciting than it ever was before Him.”
Duncan shares with Keith how coming to faith in Jesus was a ‘journey’ for him. “There’s nothing easy about being a Christian, to straighten up takes a ‘real man’ and only with Jesus’ help and God’s grace can we become the best person God has created us to be.”
