Mother’s Day Special – ‘Climbing Mountains’ Imagine, the joy of the birth of your second child being washed away to emotions of fear and bewilderment. In our Mother’s day program we meet an amazing woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 28 years of age. Four years on and the Brisbane mum has released a book featuring her journal writings and times with God during the darkest days of her treatment and recovery. Climbing Mountains is a honest and brave account of Stacey’s thoughts, fears and experiences to create an intimate story about her journey and the faith that carried her through. And we meet a young mother of two who has written a book to encourage other mothers in their fight with breast cancer. |
