When Stacey, Katelyn and Drew’s mum first feared her children’s safety, she thought asking her husband to leave was the solution. What she didn’t realise was that her husband – keeper of the family finances - had stopped paying their mortgage months ago. Instead, he was moving the couple’s assets overseas.
Dad left and the bank foreclosed on the family home leaving Stacey and her kids without a safe place to stay.
