Wesley Mission struggles after 'busiest year ever'

The Wesley Mission says it is struggling to meet the needs of the increasing number of Australians who need accommodation or financial counselling.
The organisation's annual review reveals that the number of young people it has placed in short-term accommodation has almost doubled in the past year.
The Mission also says it has had to turn back more than 2,000 Australians seeking financial counselling, and Reverend Keith Garner says he expects demand to increase.
"This has been our busiest year ever and our review reflects that, and we're exhausted thinking about what the future looks like," he said.
