Anzac Day service
04 May 2009
A special Anzac Day service at H C Foreman Lodge saw many residents and partners who were involved in World War II share their stories of survival and pain.
The chaplain who led the service highlighted the strength and integrity of the ex-servicemen and women who survived and resumed their lives following the war.
Prayers and messages of hope were offered to the ex-service men and women who lost their lives.
Following the service, residents joined together to watch the film, Our Magnificent Defeat by Dr Gordon Moyes, a reminder of the Anzac spirit and the events that took place at Gallipoli.
