The church of Jesus Christ is the greatest force for good on the face of the earth. Worldwide more than 2 billion people claim to be followers of Jesus.

Throughout its 2000 year history, the church has tackled humankind’s greatest problems – spiritual lostness, poverty, disease, and suffering and by God’s grace, it has survived persecution and neglect. Despite its imperfections the church remains God’s chosen instrument of blessing and grace.

The church’s purpose is clear.
“... go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.“ (Matt 28:19-20a).

Jesus went on to say: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matt 28:20b)

The report that follows outlines some of the things that God has achieved in and through Wesley Mission in the year 2006-2007. We thank God for the privilege of representing Him and taking the Good News of salvation through His Son to the people of Sydney. We thank God for his blessing and for the promise of His enabling and continued presence with us.
