Family and Community Services
Wesley Mission Family and Community Services have managed critical programs and activities for many years in Youth and Recreational Services, Wesley Dalmar foster care, Family Services and Supported Accommodation. Wesley Mission’s commitment is clear: to care for the youngest and most vulnerable in society, to promote healthy family relationships and to empower people to move forward.
Family and Community Services are comprised of the following:
- Wesley Youth Services provide accommodation and support programs for young people, 12-18, who are in crisis, homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Youth Services seek to assist young people to re-establish family relationships, connect with support services and learn to value themselves and maximise their capabilities.
- Wesley Recreational Services at Vision Valley such as Operation Hope, provides a safe, loving and challenging environment that enriches individuals, families and groups of up to 250 people.
- Wesley Dalmar provides short or long-term care and support services in a safe and loving family environment for children aged 0-18.
- Wesley Family Services offers family support work, after hours counselling and programs encouraging parent and community education plus early intervention programs for vulnerable families with children 0-8 years. Specific services vary reflecting the needs of local communities.
- Wesley Supported Accommodation provides affordable long, medium and short-term housing and crisis accommodation for homeless families and individuals
