Multicultural Womens Support

Multicultural support and educational group work programs are offered to families with pre-school children in four different locations.

Interpreter and referral services are provided in multicultural group work settings with childcare.
The group work program incorporates a range of guest speakers from Government, Non-Government and Community Health Organisations. The groups meet weekly (not during school holidays) to provides an early intervention service through education, advocacy, practical assistance (completion of forms) and links to the wider support network not often afforded to migrant women and their families
The program currently supports families from Arabic speaking, Chinese and Sudanese communities
The program provides practical support to families who feel isolated and marginalised.
