Home and Carer Support Services
Day to day living at home can present challenges for people who are elderly, frail, or who have a disability. Basic day to day tasks such as preparing meals and attending to personal
care can be difficult or even impossible without assistance or the
right tools. This in turn can impact those who care for them.
Wesley Home and Carer Support Services provides assistance to help people continue living in their own home. Services include support to carers and opportunities for seniors to meet new friends or learn in a friendly environment.
Support in the home
Our friendly, approachable staff may assist with activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, socialising, transport and grocery shopping. Personal care such as assistance with showering, dressing, nursing care is also available.
Our home modification service can provide practical help to make your home safer and more comfortable. For example, we can make living in your home easier by installing handrails, a ramp or a hand-held shower.
Support for carers
Carers are usually family members who provide support to people who have a disability or who are frail aged. Carers can be parents, partners, brothers, sisters, friends, or children of any age.
If you are caring for an elderly family member and need a break, our respite service may be just what you need.
