Community Aged Care Packages (CACP)

The Program is designed to assist frail older people to remain at home rather than moving to residential care by providing assistance in the home. Community Aged Care Packages (CACP"s) provide a package of care depending on the needs of the client.

CACP's operate a 24hours, 7days a week on-call system.

A weekly fee is negotiated with clients. As per the Aged Care Act, fees are capped at 17.5% of the aged care pension.

This program is funded by Commonwealth Government.

• Assistance with personal care such as bathing/showering
• Light housework
• Laundry assistance
• Meal provision and assistance
• Shopping
• Assistance with light maintenance, gardening and lawn mowing
• Gardening
• Home respite
• Day care
• Assistance with mobility
• Transport to medical appointments and outings
• Monitoring medications
• After hours assistance
• Emotional support
• Assistance with light maintenance, gardening and Lawn mowing.
