Helping you to maintain your independence

Community support

Hands of an elderly woman getting a manicureEnjoying independent living in the comfort of your own home and community is possible with Wesley Community Support Services.  Our friendly, approachable staff may assist with activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, socialising, transport and grocery shopping.  Personal care such as assistance with showering, dressing, nursing care is also available.

Our home modification service can provide practical help to make your home safer and more comfortable.  For example, we can make living in your home easier by installing handrails, a ramp or a hand-held shower.

If you are caring for an elderly family member and need a break, our respite service may be just what you need.

If you are over 60, develop your mind, body and soul through our School for Seniors’ stimulating leisure and learning activities.  A variety of different classes such as dance, languages, arts, history and music are held each week at our city location.

Whatever your needs, our friendly staff can help talk you through the options and help you decide on the support services most appropriate for you.
