The Wesley Health and Counselling Services has a comprehensive range of treatment options, at various locations throughout the State. The Carlingford Centre provides Psychiatrists’ Consulting Rooms and a range of Day Therapy Programs. 

There are now a number of Consultant Psychiatrists available on a sessional basis at the new Consulting Rooms in the Carlingford Day Therapy Centre.

Consulting Rooms

The Consulting Rooms have highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrists’ with a range of specialties, who provide assessment and treatment to patients with  a mental health disorder. In addition to private consultation,  the doctors have full access to Wesley Private Hospital, at Ashfield.

Program Staff

The staff include highly experienced clinical psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, dieticians, exercise therapists, clinical nurse specialists and a social worker.

Fees

Wesley Health and Counselling Services operates from three specialist mental health facilities. Accounts are claimed through the patient’s private health fund.

Negotiated agreements with most funds enable patients to participate in the programs without additional payment. Patients are responsible for payment of their own accounts.

Admission to Day Programs and a Psychiatrist’s assessment requires a 
referral from a medical practitioner.

How to Get There

The Carlingford Centre is situated in the picturesque grounds of the Wesley Mission’s “Dalmar” site at Carlingford. 

The entrance is from Mobbs Lane, off Marsden Road, Carlingford.

There is a private bus (Harris Park Bus Service - No. 624) that departs from Epping Road half-hourly and stops on Marsden Road.
