Disability Services

Our team

Wesley Disability Services has over 240 staff.

The Wesley Disability Services have support systems in place to assist staff to carry out their role consistently and professionally. These include quality administrative systems, generic forms, clear procedures and policies. Emergency out of hours on-call back up is available to all staff.

Working in partnership

Our commitment is to work in partnership with CALD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to promote the well being of people with a disability in a culturally appropriate manner.

Wesley Disability Services upholds the principles of self determination and participation in decision making for all CALD, Aboriginal Peoples and Torres Strait Islander People.

Individual Program Plans or Contracts

Systems are in place to ensure each person using our service has a plan, with goals and objectives identified by the client. These are achieved through skill development, allocation of resources and co-ordination of services.

Once a plan is developed the service holds regular internal reviews and a formal review every twelve months.

An individual plan is a written plan of action outlining goals and objectives necessary to improve the quality of life and/or increased independence for individuals. It is approached from a person centred perspective and is an integral part of the total process of service delivery.
