Accommodation
The Wesley Disabilities Services Accommodation is funded by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Homecare - Human Services(DADHC-HS) to provide accommodation options and support to people with disabilities. Its role is to provide a range of residential support for people with a disability who live in the community.
Accommodation Services provide support to people with disabilities in DADHC-HS funded homes. Wesley Disability Services provides a ‘whole of life’ approach to accommodation.
Wesley Accommodation Services currently has homes located over the greater Metropolitan Sydney. These homes provide a range of staff supports including 24 hour a day staff support in a group home style of accommodation, individual support in self contained flats attached to the home.
Wesley Accommodation Services Accommodation also supports people to gain skills and provides opportunities for people to live as independently as possible in the community. Personal development
training is offered to clients through the Client Support & Development program.
Accommodation Services follow the model of shared accommodation where the people living in the house pay rent and make decisions about how the household will run with the support of staff.
