Funded by the Department of Ageing Disability and Homecare & Wesley MissionWesley Life Skills is a Transition to Work, Community Participation and Post School Option Programme for people with moderate and high support needs who are referred by the Department of Ageing Disability and Homecare. Life Skills aims to improve the quality of lifestyle for service users through vocational training and community participation. This is achieved by assisting people to access and utilize programmes and services available in the community, to enable greater individual independence. Eligibility Information Person must be over 18 years of age. Programs Wesley LifeSkills programs are based on individual needs, taking into account the persons preferences and interests and may include training, community access, enhancement of existing skills, development of new skills, pre employment skills training and the development of other adult living objectives. Staff and management are committed to the highest quality educational, social, cultural and leisure opportunities within available resources.
