Personal Support Program
We're Here to Help
The Personal Support Program is a Commonwealth Government Initiative designed to help people with barriers to employment, reach their individual goals matching their disabilities, capabilities and circumstances. It is designed to:
- Support Participants as individuals
- Improve participants circumstances and address their barriers
- Enhance capacity for economic focussed activities
- Enhance participation in the social life of their community
- Bridge the gap between short-term crisis assistance and employment-related assistance
Wesley Uniting Employment in its role as a provider of PSP aims to:
- Deliver the program in a way that recognises and meets the different needs of each participant
- Develop a professional one to one relationship between provider and participants
- Provide individual, flexible assistance
- Focus on the transition of participants, when ready, to employment assistance programmes
- Provide assistance targeted to help participants secure employment
The personal Support Programme provided through Wesley Uniting Employment, a service of Wesley Mission, strives to; Assist all participants to achieve a better way of life and to have your needs recognised by skilled staff, who will treat you with respect, dignity and compassion. Wesley Uniting Employment sites range across Sydney and Regional NSW.
