Frank Vickery Village is the largest Uniting Church retirement
village in New South Wales. It is situated on 5 hectares of land - a
peaceful and quite retreat set in landscaped grounds and trees that
characterise the suburb of Sylvania in Sydney's Sutherland Shire.
The Village provides accommodation for over 300 self-care residents, in a
range of different types of accommodation, including affordable
retirement alternatives for those who do not currently own their own
home.
As well as providing a range of flexicare services to any resident needing them, the Village is funded for, and administers 40 Community Aged Care
Packages for the benefit of residents in self-care who need additional
support services that can enable them to stay in their own unit for
longer. However there is also a 69 bed low care (hostel) facility on the
site offering both permanent and respite accommodation.
