Admissions checklist
At Wesley Hospital we endeavour to make your admission to hospital as comfortable and accommodating as possible.
To help you prepare for admission, we recommend that you bring the following items with you to hospital:
- your Medicare card
- your health fund card
- your Department of Veterans Affairs card if you are a veteran
- any medication you are currently taking, along with your current prescriptions
- pyjamas or nightgown
- dressing gown
- slippers and walking shoes
- several changes of clothing, appropriate for the time of year
- toiletries
- hobbies (for example, books and other reading material, crosswords, knitting).
We recommend that you do not bring valuables, large amount of money or items with sentimental value to hospital. No responsibility can be taken by Wesley Hospital for the loss of such items.
