Enquiries and admissions
Wesley Hospital offers a range of treatment programs for in-patients and day patients in two locations: Wesley Hospital Ashfield and Wesley Hospital Kogarah. To prepare for admission, see our admissions checklist.
Both hospitals provide expert care for recovery from a range of psychiatric illnesses, including:
- alcohol dependency
- drug addiction
- eating disorders (at Ashfield)
- anxiety
- depression
- bipolar disorder
- borderline personality disorder
- psychosis
- veterans’ service-related trauma.
Appointments can be made to consult a psychiatrist without the need for admission. A referral from a GP is required.
Private health insurance
Admissions to Wesley Hospital are only available to patients with private health insurance. Wesley Hospital is registered with the NSW Department of Health, and has full agreements with the Department of Veterans Affairs and all private health insurance funds.
Accommodation charges are refunded by your health insurance fund, according to your level of cover and your insurer’s agreement with the hospital. Your psychiatrist will charge a separate fee for their services.
