Lifeline provides an invaluable community safety net for people in crisis whatever the time of day or night. Lifeline saves lives, with thousands of people ringing, every year, desperate for a reason to live. Lifeline enriches lives, working through issues including; sexual abuse, domestic violence, relationship breakdown, loneliness and isolation, and mental health problems, helping those who call achieve a better quality of life. At the same time, Lifeline provides ongoing support to those who ring through the face to face counselling program.
Lifeline Sydney's continued operation however, relies on the generosity of our supporters. All the money donated goes toward the work of Lifeline Sydney, training, supervising and supporting our telephone counselling and face to face counselling volunteers to ensure that we are there for over 22,000 people who contact us each year.
You can support this vital community work in a variety of ways:
Financial donations are very important to ensure the continuation of the Lifeline service. Donations to Lifeline Sydney can be made ONLINE on Wesley Mission's secure server.
Or you can forward a cheque to Locked Bag 2700, Strawberry Hills, NSW 2012.
Donations to Wesley Mission's activities are tax deductable and a receipt is provided for all financial support we receive.
Lifeline Sydney offers several key sponsorship opportunities:
- Sponsorship of Lifeline Sydney and/or new programs to ensure an increased level of service to the community.
- Sponsorship of the Lifeline Sydney Bookfair (see Events) by donating money or in kind support.
Lifeline Sydney recognises the support of these organisations providing acknowledgement in brochures and Wesley Mission publications, event signage and acknowledgement on all event materials (flyers, posters, invitations etc).
