Multicultural Groupwork Programs (Arabic Speaking)

Multicultural Support and Educational Groups offer a diverse range of services including:
- Interpreter and referral services in a culturally appropriate multicultural group work and other activity setting which includes childcare.
- These groups are facilitated and incorporate a guest speaker from a relevant Government Service or Community Health. The groups meet on a weekly basis (not during school holidays) and provide a mix of education, advocacy, practical assistance and early intervention that caters to the needs of the group and provides a support network not often afforded migrant women and their families.
- Currently supporting families from Arabic speaking, Chinese and Sudanese communities
- The program is able to provide advocacy and assistance with completion of forms and direction to other appropriate service providers also practical support to families who feel isolated and marginalised.
