Westlakes Macquarie Family Support
Westlakes Family Support is a service funded through DoCS Families NSW as an Early Intervention Program for new parents with children 0–8 years in the West Lake Macquarie area. This service assists families with parenting support, supported playtimes, referrals to other services and assisted transport to health services.
Westlakes Family Support offers a diverse range of services including:
- Home Visiting
- Helps families with child behaviour issues
- Parent support and education
- Understanding of child development and referral to other services if required
- Counselling
- Support advocacy
- Group work to families in the Macquarie Lakes area
- Provide a predominantly home-based service with flexible hours to assist individual families.
