Overview

The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the current industry benchmark for anyone responsible for competency-based training program design, development, delivery and assessment in the national Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is designed for people who are currently working in, or wish to enter, the training and development field at an operational level in a training and/or assessment environment.

Learning outcomes

• On completion of the Certificate learners should be able to:
  
• use Training Packages to meet client needs
  
• design competency based learning programs
  
• facilitate group based, individual and work based learning
  
• plan, organise and assess competence
  
• develop assessment tools and participate in assessment validation
