Overview

The TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the current industry benchmark for anyone responsible for competency-based training program design, development, delivery and assessment in the national Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

The TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is designed for people who are currently working in, or wish to enter, the training and development field at an operational level in a training and/or assessment environment.

The TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment consists of 14 units of competency (12 core and 2 electives*). The Units we offer are outlined in the table below. Upon successful completion of the 14 units of competency, participants will be eligible to apply for this nationally recognised qualification.\
The qualification is drawn from the training and assessment Training Package TAA04.

There are no formal prerequisites in this qualification however, if you are completing the entire qualification, it is strongly recommended that you complete the Vocational Education and Training Context workshop before proceeding onto completing any/all of the other workshops.  Our module delivery structure is based upon this program.

The new qualification provides all the skills and knowledge required to deliver training in an industry area or work specific expertise, and conduct competency-based assessment in a wide range of work based contexts.  There are twelve core units of competency and two electives that make up the Certificate lV in Training and Assessment TAA40104, these are packaged and delivered over four clustered groups.

You can enrol in the four Clusters for the complete Certificate, or enrol in individual Clusters according to your needs. All clusters require workshop attendance, self-directed learning and workplace projects, including a large component of home study.
