The student handbook is a critical element for the delivery of accredited learning and training programs and provides all the background information that intending students and training participants would need to understand how our programs are run. The handbook also outlines the relationship between intending participants, Wesley Vocational Institute, and the government who controls and monitors our delivery of all nationally accredited training programs.  

The handbook contents are wide ranging and covers such topics as :

• The Mission and Code of Practice of Wesley Vocational Institute, 
• Enrolling in a course/program,
• Participants' access,
• Equity and privacy, 
• How to handle or raise complaints and appeals and the management of discrimination and harassment, 
• Occupational Health and Safety

The handbook also covers the system of assessment procedures, records and issuance of qualifications, and the national system of recognition and credits, fee structures, cancellations and refunds and Students’ Rights and Responsibilities and their Code of Conduct.
