Administrative Assistant
Wesley Home and Carer Support Services - North

- Brookvale
We are seeking to employ an Administrative Assistant to join a fun and welcoming team in our Brookvale office providing Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) and Extended Aged Care at Home Dementia (EACHD) packages to frail aged people in the community as well as HACC funded In Home Respite and Domestic Assistance programs.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall administrative duties of the office including invoicing, petty cash clearing and accounts payable.
Essential Criteria:
• Highly developed organisational skills;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Excellent working knowledge of client invoicing.
• Knowledge of People Soft
• Excellent computer skills (Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2000, Excel, Internet and e-mail).
• NSW Drivers licence
Desirable Criteria:
• Knowledge in Aged Care and Home and Community Care.

An opportunity exists for highly motivated Psychologist/Clinical Psychologists to join our multidisciplinary team at Wesley Eating Disorders Centre.
The successful applicant will be a registered Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist with experience in providing CBT, DBT, MET and group therapy. Competency in providing clinical psychology assessments is also a prerequisite. An interest in Eating Disorders is essential as is willingness to eat with our patients. Prior experience in delivering services to patients with Eating Disorders is highly desirable. A current NSW drivers license is also required.

Telephone Counselling Supervisors

We are seeking two Telephone Counselling Supervisor Part Time – 32 hours per week one mostly based at Sutherland; one mostly based in the CBD to facilitate the effective functioning of the Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland services.
Essential Criteria
- At least associate membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) or clinical membership of a Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia
(PACFA) member association; - Cert 1V (TAA)
- Must be available to work on the following days and times Tuesday and Thursday 11am to 8pm (including 2 x 30 minute breaks) and Wednesday and Friday 8.30am to 5pm
- Counselling experience and mental health assessment skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience supervising counsellors and/or intern psychologists is desirable as is policy, procedure and programme development skills.

Part Time position
Wesley Home and Carer Support Services is a large community-based aged care service operating across Sydney. We are providers of Community Aged Care Packages (CACP), Extended Aged Care at Home Packages (EACH) and In Home Respite services in the Sutherland Shire and St George LGAs. We are seeking organised, motivated and enthusiastic people to join our dedicated team to assist older people and their carers living in their home.
Our enthusiastic team provides services to our clients that include shopping, transport, assistance with personal care, housework, meal preparation and social outings.
We currently have several part time positions available to work across our programs.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and work with minimal supervision
- Recent practical experience working in the community / aged care industry
- Registered Motor Vehicle
- Current NSW Drivers licence.
Desirable Criteria:
- Certificate III in Community Care or Equivalent
- Recent experience working with people with disabilities.

Wesley Respite Services are looking for a dynamic individual to provide a fun holiday experience for the clients who access our respite centre.
The role involves supporting children and adults with daily living tasks focusing on fun filled, social and recreational activities. Within this role you will develop your skills, gain knowledge and work with a diverse range of people.
Permanent Part Time Position (up to 35 hrs per fortnight), SACS Award Grade 2 including generous salary packaging opportunities.
