Growing People - Our 2008 Annual Review
At Wesley Mission we want to build and develop new models of caring for the disadvantaged and marginalised in our community. We are committed to work at enduring solutions, so that wellbeing is translated to independent living and sustainable relationships. These factors make for changed lives, healthy communities and the efficient use of public and private resources.
During the past year, we have seen significant progress in services for young people, foster care, homeless services, supported accommodation for families, our suicide prevention program (LifeForce), Personal Support and Work for the Dole employment programs and community care to help the elderly lead independent lives, to name a few. At the same time, we recognise the fact that there is more work to be done.
You can order a printed summary of our Review below, or download a PDF of the full report with more detailed information. The same information in the PDF is also available here online under each of our service areas. We also invite you to take a short survey to let us know what you would like to see in our Annual Review in the future.
