Beating Addiction
Addiction has been defined as “dependence on a substance (such as alcohol or other drugs) or an activity, to the point that stopping is very difficult and causes severe physical and mental reactions.”1
This report will focus on the following topics:
Beating addiction involves empowering a person to regain control over their life by accepting the existence of the problem and assisting the process of recovery by correcting the underlying factors that led to the addiction and those that prolong it.
