QUALITY AUSTRALIAN CONTENT NOW AT THE FINGERTIPS OF CHRISTIAN RADIO STATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

Wesley Mission's leadership in media communication has taken another step forward with the development of an MP3 radio server, which allows radio stations throughout the world to download and broadcast totally free a range of programming content produced for the Mission's top-rating 2GB Sunday Night Live program.

The program, which is hosted by Wesley Mission Superintendent, the Rev Dr Gordon Moyes AC, is the highest rating radio show in Sydney on Sunday nights and attracts the largest audience in Australia for the 8 pm to midnight time slot.

"Christian radio stations around Australia now have access to top-rating Australian Christian content," said Wesley Mission's Group Manager - Corporate Communications Martin Johnson. "This is a refreshing change for listeners who are more accustomed to North American programs.

"These segments are culturally relevant with a strong Gospel message. Our Sunday evening Church service, recorded live from Wesley Theatre is free to all Christian radio stations throughout Australia and the world. Downloading content is as easy as logging on, entering your e-mail address and entering a password.

"We will also be making available Christmas and Good Friday/Easter radio specials."

The new media server located at http://www.wesleymission.org.au/media will contain weekly updates of:

• Sunday Night Live - Service Part 1
  A live recording of Wesley Mission's 7pm Church service, with preacher Rev Dr Gordon Moyes. Regular segments include an opening hymn, prayer of intercession, a featured musical item, a prayer for the week and a bible reading. Duration: 15-17 mins.
• Sunday Night Live - Service Part 2 - Sermon
  Rev Dr Gordon Moyes' Sunday Night Live sermon. Recorded live at Wesley Theatre, Dr Moyes preaches sound biblical principles on topical themes. Duration: 25-30 mins.
  Note: the above two segments make up a commercial hour of broadcasting.
• Ordinary Person
  Rev Dr Gordon Moyes interviews an ordinary Christian person whom God has used to do extra-ordinary things in and through. These interviews are available on alternate weeks with the Churches on the Move segment. Duration 20-25 mins.
• Churches on the Move
  Rev Dr Gordon Moyes interviews the leaders of Australia's largest Churches that are making an impact for Christ in their community. These interviews are available on alternate weeks with the Ordinary Person interviews. Duration: 20-25 mins.
• Moment To Think
  Rev Dr Gordon Moyes shares a thought for the day on a contemporary issue relevant to society, encouraging listeners to consider things from a Christian perspective. Five MTT spots are provided weekly. Duration: 45-50 sec.
• Superintendent To A City
  Rev Dr Gordon Moyes shares a story from his experiences as the Superintendent to Wesley Mission. Dr Moyes has been a 'Pastor to the Slums' in inner Melbourne, a 'Country Parson', a teacher at a 'One Teacher Bush School' and a Suburban Minister in one of Australia's largest suburban ministries in Cheltenham, Victoria. Hear his experiences now as Superintendent of one of the world's largest churches. One story will be provided weekly. Duration: 20-25 mins.
