School of Theology
The School of Theology is part of a widely focused Christian training college. Theology is offered alongside counselling, education, and the creative and performing arts. The result is a diverse and stimulating environment for study and learning. Additionally, because Wesley Institute is part of Wesley Mission, students are exposed to the Mission's range of urban programmes. And, uniquely, Wesley Institute is able to bring together the ministries of the Word and the arts in order to communicate the Gospel effectively in contemporary contexts.
Our School of Theology is an evangelical faculty committed to:
- Biblical truth and excellence in scholarship
- the unchanging Gospel being expressed in culturally diverse ways
- the practical application of theology in urban mission
- the integration of theology and the arts
- the pastoral formation of its students
- the integration of theology and the arts.
FEE-HELP is available for eligible students. Undergraduate courses also qualify for Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy.

Wesley Institute encourages cross-cultural dialogue and integration between disciplines. Academic staff are particularly committed to exploring and facilitating integration between theology and the arts, and have pioneered studies and research reflecting this dialogue.
