International Voice Expert Runs WI Workshops

UK based Frankie Armstrong stepped onto our sunny shores this month, conducting voice workshops with WI Drama students.
Frankie is an initiating member of the Natural Voice Practitioners Network which grew out of the Voice Teacher training courses that she has run in the UK since 1988. She has recorded 9 solo albums as well as being featured on numerous shared and themed recordings. She has contributed chapters to 11 books, written an autobiography and co-edited Well Tuned Women (on women and voice). Over the past two decades Frankie has particularly focused on the body-voice connection, and using the voice as a tool to aid self-expression, creativity and confidence. A guest tutor at International Voice Conferences in the UK, Australia and North America, Frankie has also tutored and worked with professional theatre companies, worldwide.
