About the role
Wesley Dalmar Out of Home Care (OOHC) offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to an experienced professional. Duties include supervising staff and working with children, their foster carers and natural families. The development of new initiatives in OOHC in conjunction with management will be encouraged.
- degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent
- flexibility to work some evenings and occasional weekends
- current driver’s licence
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- two years or more experience in working with children and families
- two years or more experience in Out of Home Care
- knowledge of NSW Out of Home Care Standards and a commitment to maintaining accreditation
- experience in staff supervision
- current Working with Children Check
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, with generous salary packaging available.
