Wesley Dalmar is a leading out of home care agency in NSW.  We have a proud history of caring for children, young people and their families since 1893.

About the role

Wesley Dalmar is seeking a team leader to join the Out of Home Care Bella Vista team, based in Bella Vista.  The position offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for the team leader to support a team of case managers to ensure children in out of home care are in safe stable and suitable placements, as well as implement effective case management to children, young people, families and carers.

Essential criteria

  • tertiary qualification(s) in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related fields
  • experience in Out of Home Care
  • knowledge skills and experience working with children and families 
  • demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard
  • wide-ranging experience in case management
  • high level ability to liaise, network and maintain solid working relationships with community groups and government departments
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexible to work some evenings and weekends
  • current unrestricted drivers licence

Desirable criteria

  • experience in Out of Home Care
  • previous supervisory experience

Remuneration

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 6, with capacity for salary packaging and the provision of a fully maintained motor vehicle available for private use.  Superannuation is paid in addition at 9.5%
