In this passage about the song of the vineyard, God’s people are confronted with the issue of justice. We learn that they had praised God but neglected justice and righteousness, and we consider what this means for Christians living in Australia today. We learn that we are blessed so that we can be a blessing to others, and that helping people who struggle is an essential part of living our lives in loving obedience to the God who has blessed us.
