This two-day online course is designed for practicing and training psychiatrists who want to learn more about electroconvulsive therapy or refresh their professional knowledge on its applications to improve patient outcomes.
During the course, you’ll cover the foundations of ECT treatment and hear the latest research findings including insights into ultra-brief and bifrontal ECT as well as anaesthetic strategies.

Dr Brett Simpson
Dr Simpson is the Director of Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) at Wesley Hospital Kogarah. He has extensive clinical experience in the provision of ECT, regularly collaborates in ECT research at Wesley Hospital and is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales.
