Wesley Hospital is running two programs for eating disorders. These are the HAPIFED and Discover-Recover programs.
A Healthy Approach to Weight Management and Food in Eating Disorders (HAPIFED)
Who is this program for?
This program is provided for people with Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Bulimia Nervosa of the non-purging type (BN-NP) and other specified feeding and eating disorder of binge eating type (OSFED-BE) who are seeking weight loss management.
The program will incorporate Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Bulimic and Binge Eating Disorders as well as a healthy weight maintenance program. People attending the program will also be required to be medically stable and not in need of more intensive treatment for their eating disorder or for a co-morbid physical, psychological or psychiatric disorder.
