Emergency Relief Appeal 2021
In times of crisis, Australians proudly pull together to protect the most vulnerable people in our communities.
We are in a major crisis now.
Our staff in south-west Sydney are being overwhelmed with requests for help to put food on the table.
COVID-19 can make us all feel helpless, but there’s something practical and powerful you can do: you can send someone without food one of Wesley Mission’s emergency relief boxes.
These go directly from the grocer to people in desperate need. They are safely packed and delivered by hand by drivers in PPE.
Or you can give a heating voucher, so that people in frail health or home-schooling children can stay warm and healthy.
Our team on the ground in the worst-affected areas have been shocked by the depth of the need we are seeing – it’s heartbreaking.
But we also see how much impact you can make.
You can tell someone in isolation that they are not alone, and make a practical difference they will never forget. You can tell a child that people care.
If you can, please dig deep, give generously, and help us send an emergency relief pack out to someone in crisis today.
