Once a year, volunteers, supporters and the public descend upon The Wesley Centre in the heart of Sydney's CBD for:
- soulful, live-music
- fresh flowers and potted plants
- coffee and pop-up cafe food
- secondhand books and bric-a-brac
- designer samples and vintage clothes
- handmade arts and crafts (perfect for gifts!)
- really yummy cakes, jams, slices and biscuits and more.
If you venture further than our popular stalls at our entrance, chances are you’ll leave with a pot plant, two books you were going to buy online anyway, a blazer you’ll spend the next year getting complimented on and a crocheted blanket for your nephew made by a lady who needs to open her own Etsy store immediately. Not to mention the bag of delicious bikkies you already scoffed.
Why coming along makes a big difference
Not only will you get to cross ‘Christmas shopping’ off your to do list, you’ll help us raise much needed funds for Wesley Take Charge Of Your Life – a program helping young people to successfully transition out of care by enabling them to move to independence in a stable, secure environment and find meaningful employment. And because Wesley Fair is mostly run by volunteers, your dollars will go far.
Can’t wait for November?
Every third Thursday of the month our monthly market boasts many beautifully hand-made and crafted goods including jewellery, hand knits, chocolates, cakes and clothing. Come along to find treasure, pick up a bargain and help our community who are most in need.
