Wesley Open Wardrobe
Whether you’re a fashionista or love to throw on a comfy jumper after a long day, we know how important clothes are to how you look and feel.
As a volunteer for Wesley Open Wardrobe, you can help someone who is homeless find the clothes they need - like a suit for an upcoming job interview or a pair of shorts for the summer months.
Homelessness is a complex issue and one that’s not solved with a new wardrobe alone. But clothes can make a difference. They can help make people feel more confident and empowered.
Wesley Open Wardrobe is based at Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge, our supported accommodation service in Surry Hills. Here, volunteers help set-up a market-like stall, provide advice for clients about what clothes suit their needs before joining them for a BBQ lunch. For residents of Wesley Edward Eagar Lodge, the clothes and lunch is free.
