Wesley Retail is responsible for the collection and distribution of clothing, furniture and household items.
Through our outlets we provide good quality clothing and other basic household items at very reasonable prices or at no charge at all for those introduced through our community services.
Wesley Retail is a self-funding service run almost entirely by volunteers who provide quality service and assist with managing a high volume of stock.
All revenue generated helps fund critical Wesley Mission community services such as accommodation services, emergency food and care packages and counselling support.
Those who support Wesley Retail through donated items, business partnerships or time volunteered make a real difference to the lives of those who are struggling in our communities.
Wesley Retail shops also provide a meeting point for the local community. Volunteers, staff, donors and corporate partners are motivated to make positive changes in their communities and we work together to that end.
Our supportive and dedicated team of volunteers help with a range of tasks including:
- serving at the shops
- driving the truck
- loading and unloading goods
- sorting goods.
