Wesley Home Modifications developed out of Wesley Mission’s aged care services in 1984. The service was originally called Wesley Home Care and began out of recognition that many of our older clients were not ready to enter an aged care facility and, with a little bit of help, would be able to remain independent in their own homes.
Today Wesley Home Modifications is part of a suite of services Wesley Mission offers to people who require assistance to remain independent in their own homes. These services can be accessed directly through Wesley Mission or through Australian Government programs such as Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) services under the Department of Health and Ageing (DOHA), or Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) services under the Department of Health. Services are tailored to meet an individual’s specific needs.
