Refugee Week

This week on Wesley Impact! TV we hear Aaron Moore's inspiring story and the Rev Dr Keith Garner looks at Luke's Gospel.

Aaron’s story
Aaron Moore had a very comfortable life in Australia but decided to give it all up and dedicate himself to working overseas with refugees and people facing extreme poverty. Aaron talks about how he was inspired by a pastor in his youth to not only believe in Jesus Christ but how to actively live out his faith every day. Aaron has made the selfless decision to sell everything he owns to give to people in need around the world.

Wesley Mission story—Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland
We take a look at how generous book donations from the public have helped Wesley Lifeline provide a great service for people in tough circumstances. Through selling second hand books at the Lifeline Book Fairs, much needed funds are raised to support the work of Wesley Mission's Lifeline branches. Penny Mayson, Operations Manager of Lifeline Sydney and Sutherland, talks about the valuable contribution that volunteers make to bring about the yearly fundraiser, the Lifeline Book Fair.

Keith's reflection
The Rev Dr Keith Garner leads this week’s sermon with a reading from Luke’s Gospel.
