Best of 2012: Youth off the Streets
This week on Wesley Impact! TV we meet Father Chris Riley and the Rev Dr Keith Garner reflects on the Cross of Christ.
Father Chris Riley’s story
Father Riley knew from the age of 15 that he wanted to be a priest. He started Youth off the Streets, an organisation that has helped bring change to countless homeless and at risk young people across greater Sydney. Father Riley talks about the thrill of seeing young people who have endured so much pain in their lives go on to achieve great things.
Wesley Mission story—Wesley Youth Services
Wesley Youth Services focuses on building relationships with young people from a variety of backgrounds, supporting them and building their trust. Through the relationships that are formed the youth workers are able to link young people into local services that can help them with issues they may be going through.
The Rev Dr Keith Garner leads this week’s sermon on how God’s love is spelt out in His work on the Cross, reflecting on what the Cross means to us today.
