After serving the Ballina community with great coffee, delicious food and a commitment to creating opportunities for young people, The Dove Ballina has permanently closed.
What made The Dove special was never just what was on the menu. As part of Wesley Mission, The Dove was created to provide young people with practical hospitality experience, mentorship and opportunities to build skills and confidence for the future. Along the way, it became a welcoming space where locals, visitors and community members could come together over a meal or coffee.
We are proud of what The Dove achieved and deeply thankful to the many customers, staff, volunteers, partners and supporters who helped make it possible. Every visit, purchase and conversation contributed to creating a place that was known not only for its hospitality, but also for its heart.
While the café has closed, the memories created there and the impact made through the opportunities it provided will remain.
To the Ballina community, thank you for your support, encouragement and friendship over the years. It has been our privilege to serve you.
